What is your website and where can I signup?
Are you require to tryout to be a part of JYC?
No! However, we will have mock tryouts as there have been in years past. We want all cheerleaders to be ready for junior high and high school cheer tryouts.
Will everyone participate in competition?
No. We will have 2 squads. A sideline squad & a competition squad. The sideline squad is the squad every registered cheerleader will be a part of. These are the squads that will cheer at games and work on techniques including jumps, tumbling, stunting, arm placement, etc. The competition squad is an optional squad. Cheerleaders on the competition squad will have additional practices and attend competition(s). The number of competition teams will be determined by the number of registered cheerleaders.
Will we have new uniforms?
We will reuse the uniforms from this year, however, there will be new jackets. Upcoming kindergarteners will have a more comfortable and affordable cheer uniform.
Will there be events with RYCA Football?
Yes! We want to build a tight sense of community and bond between the football players and cheerleaders.
What is the involvement with the community?
We are reaching out to schools, organizations and businesses to create a small-town feel and partnership.
